Vacation Time!

If I could have imagined my idea of a as perfect as possible family vacation, I just experience it!!  Our family went to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic in July.  It was everything I had hope it would be!  

Day One:  BEACH DAY& RESORT DAY!  Kids had never before been to a beach.  The temperature was a perfect 75-80 degrees.  (Oklahoma temperature was 100+ with humility).

We stay at the Now Larimar Resort; it was everything I had hoped! Beautiful, clean, friendly service, new!   The one and only complaint I had was the food…..I love to eat and was so looking forward to pigging out.  The food wasn’t what we are used to.  The American food wasn’t up to my (low) standards.   We couldn’t wait to get to a Texas Roadhouse.

Kids and Kelly LOVED Para sailing.....I didn't care for it one single bit, thank you!

The kids saved their hard earned money to swimming with Dolphins.  They were NOT disappointed.  They were in the water for over 30 minutes with Dolphins.  

Zip lining-(my personal favorite)!  It took us around an hour and 45 minutes to get up to where we would be zip-lining.  I would have paid just for the drive, I enjoyed seeing the people and their homes and business. I was thankful my children got to see how truly blessed we are in America.  We saw such poverty & sadness.  Little kids would chase the tour truck and try to sell flowers.  I gave Jarrett several dollars to throw to the kids.  He wanted me to give more and told me he would pay me back when he got home.  :(

 I have ALWAYS wanted go on a humanity trip to a 3^rd world country……..I may have changed my mind on that.  It just makes me to depressed, wish I give every family food, clean water.  The Zip-lining was a BLAST!  I hate heights! I almost chicken out.  So glad I didn't, it was so much fun.  

   

All and all we had the trip of a life time!  MEMORIES MADE! Again, I I’m so thankful that I was born in the good old USA, I’m thankful for the gospel of Jesus Christ also.  I can’t imagine life any other way.    Love my Life, love my Family, Life is GOOD!
